The Gospel Drama Group presents a mini-Gospel drama as well
as doing readings and prayers at the Children's Mass (10.00
am) every Sunday. The idea is to involve the children in the
Mass in a very real way and to make it an enjoyable and meaningful
event, not just for the children in the group but for everybody
in attendance - young and old!

The group is organised by 4 to 5 very dedicated adults and
there are about twenty children involved. The group operates
during school-term and meets weekly on Thursday at 7.00 pm
in the Church to prepare and rehearse for the following Sunday.
The children involved are from 3rd Class and up, and they each
take on different parts in the Mass on a rota basis.

This is a lovely opportunity for children to take part in
drama activities on a very informal basis. They can begin by
saying a short prayer and build up to playing a role in the
drama. The children develop a deeper understanding and appreciation
of the Mass, the Gospel stories and readings. This is a great
group for socialising and making new friends and they have
a "fab" end-of-year party!

So if you've reached 3rd Class or higher, or you're a grown-up
with a sense of adventure, and would like to be part of this,
