There are about twenty-five members in the 11 o’clock
Choir which has been in existence since about 1981. Currently
under the direction of Denis Morgan, the group provide spiritual
enrichment to many of our Church services through music and
singing, and are of course present for the Sunday morning 11
o’clock Mass every week.

Practice takes place every Wednesday evening followed by a
cup of tea and a bit of a chat. Social events are held from
time to time and last year the group took off for a weekend
away. Choir members would describe themselves as a welcoming
group of mixed ages, and being part of the Choir has given
each of them a sense of fulfilment as well as affording each
an opportunity to form lasting friendships. They have all learned
to grow musically and spiritually.

New members are always welcome and the Choir extend an open
invitation to prospective new members when activities resume
after the short summer break. New members keep the group vibrant,
so if you would like to give it a go, contact
