After the Parish Assembly in 1994, it was decided to form a Liturgy & Spirituality Group. This group sets itself the task of enhancing and enriching our experience of the liturgical celebrations in the parish.

It highlights the importance of the liturgy as a reflection of our lived faith and aims to make the liturgies more celebratory and expressive of the diversities in our community. It is also something of a "think-tank" on all things liturgical and frequently shares ideas with, and works alongside, other Church groups. The production of leaflets/cards for special occasions and seasons also falls within the remit of this group.

The group meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month (during term time) at 8.00 pm in the Iona Centre and concludes with a "cuppa and chat". Currently there are about ten members in the group and new members and their ideas are always welcome.
