Autumn Programme 2010
Course 1
Preparing for the Eucharistic Congress 2012
‘The Master says this to you: “Where is the room for me to eat the Passover with my disciples?” The man will show you a large upper room furnished with couches. Make the preparations there’ (Luke 22: 11-12).
‘Make the preparations there’
In 2012, Ireland will host the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. In announcing the Congress, Pope Benedict XVI hoped that it would be “a source of lasting spiritual renewal”. The Church in Ireland is invited to prepare for this great encounter with the Lord.
We invite you to participate in this time of preparation. Four speakers will address the great mystery of the Eucharist this autumn.
