The
Parish Social Committee has been up and running since around
1995. There are just six members in this hard-working group
who oversee and organise the major social events of the parish,
ie
The Christmas Fair and Parish Week and any other events that
are deemed necessary.

This committee meets as necessary and obviously in the time
leading up an event, the meetings are more frequent but tend
to be short – jobs are allocated and they go and do!
People
interested in this aspect of parish life need to be “doers” rather
than “talkers” and the committee welcome (and need)
all the help they can get! Involvement in this side of the
parish is good fun, and there is a lull in activity between
December and April and again between June and September (normally!)
