Mixing with peers and adults, and Chance to get involved
in positive activities.
The club in Knocklyon has just gotten underway in
the Knocklyon Youth & Community Centre. The members
have elected their own committee to decide what the
agenda will be for each week and they hope to go
and visit another club in the area that is run by
Foróige.
At the moment the sports hall is divided up into
three sections and they play three different sports.
In the canteen upstairs they can play board games
and buy refreshments. Members pay a small fee every
week to go to the club. They are currently learning
hip-hop dancing under the direction of a professional
instructor.
The club will finish its season at the end of May
and resume again in September. |
